[Old route] Defenders of Dynatron City - speedrun tips and quick reference

Streets:
- use Ms. Megawatt everywhere, switch to Buzzsaw Girl for the blimp
- blowing up a car kills any nearby enemies - it's easier than hitting a moving target, and if you're lucky you can get a multi-kill
- after killing an enemy, spam more projectiles without moving - you should kill the next few replacements as they spawn just off-screen
    - works especially well for flyers
- if you're going to change characters for the Blimp fight, do it BEFORE entering C Street, because pausing resets the Blimp position back to off-screen
- Toolbox can get the quickest Blimp kill, but it's tough. Buzzsaw Girl should be able to get a 2-cycle without spawning any flyers. Ms. Megawatt seems less consistent.

- C: far right, exit down
- 6: left for Auto Shop (Ms. Megawatt grabs the upgrade), far left, exit down
- A: left 1 block, exit down
- 4: right 1 block, exit down
- B: far right, exit down
- 5: far right, exit down
- D : left for Hardware Store (Buzzsaw Girl grabs the upgrade), left for Drug Store (Toolbox grabs the upgrade), left 1 block, exit UP
- 3: left 1 block, exit down
- C: left 1 block, exit UP
- 2: far left, exit down
- A: far left, exit down
- 1: right for Toy Store (Monkey Kid grabs the upgrade), right 2 blocks, exit UP
- C: kill Blimp, get supercharger

Mall:
- run with Ms. Megawatt, fight with Toolbox
    - spam Toolbox's jump attack, try to stay behind the Robosaurs and not to get hit too much
- switch to Radium Dog when Toolbox's health or power gets too low
    - have Radium Dog fly and slowly descend as a Robosaur is landing from a jump, to glitch it out, then spam bites
- use Buzzsaw Girl on the boss
    - spam jump attacks (or regular attacks) and stay VERY close behind him
    - beware, he may turn around if he hits the edge of the stage
    - NOTE: IF you plan on grabbing a late mall item, beware of accidentally grabbing the supercharger too quickly before you do so
- POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS:
    - Current WR does not grab an item from the mall...
    - You could use Toolbox for ALL Robosaurs (it's faster than Dog) and grab a power refill for him (though health will likely be VERY tight, and you need him alive)
    - Or you could grab a safety Full Heal for anyone who needs one, for extra insurance in Proto-Cola later when you'll be taking lots of damage on all characters
    - Last thing I'll say... I don't currently have a good understanding of Robosaur spawns or Robosaur hitboxes. Sometimes I run past them as Ms. Megawatt and can't find them. And sometimes Radium Dog struggles to hit them. Investigation into these areas would be helpful.

Sewers:
- use Buzzsaw Girl regular attacks for lizards, Toolbox jumps for birds and boss
- 5-C-3-B-4-B-1-D-6-A-2

Proto-Cola Factory:
- at any point, if very low on total health in your party, switch to Toolbox to tank some hits if there are too many bubbles - it's SLOW, but better than a game over
- Monkey Kid: can take potshots with projectiles while running right; mostly use Radium Dog
- Toolbox: use Buzzsaw Girl regular attacks - try to separate and stunlock them
- Buzzsaw Girl: all-out offensive with whoever you've got left, let heroes die if necessary!
    - just don't let Radium Dog die
    - priority: Buzzsaw Girl, Ms. Megawatt, Radium Dog

Dr. Mayhem:
- use Radium Dog and superchargers

After the last hit on Dr. Mayhem go into the menu and back, it'll skip his monologue and save you about 0.3s
