After putting in an extra mod shift for re-timing all runs to subtract load times the leaderboard has now been changed to Time Without Loads as the default timing method. When submitting runs you can enter your Time With Loads, the loadless time will be calculated by a mod.
We discovered the load times on the Nintendo Switch version of the game are considerably longer compared to PC. In a Dinosaur Rally run for example, the load time is 40+ seconds which is longer than the load time in a full game run on PC which is around 30 seconds. But even on different PCs there is a noticable difference: a test showed a 20+ second difference between two full game runs done on different computers. This is why the leaderboard now includes Time With Loads as well as Time Without Loads. Since it's quite an undertaking to time out loads for all runs currently on the leaderboard the loadless times will be added gradually over time. Once all runs have a Time Without Loads the default timing method will be changed to loadless timing. Untul then, Time With Loads will stay the default.
Today, new categories were added for each of the three locations of the Witch Rally. For one, this will give us an overview over the fastest times achieved for each location in full game runs and also allow people to run each location separately. Good luck and hex-hex!
