Mech Boss Tutorial:

Skip knocking out the boss and instead go straight to turning the valve. Sometimes Mech will fire machine guns more often than his rockets which is RNG.

If you want to go safe with your hp then turn the valve halfway and then knock out the boss. Remember that you need hp for the next level.
