"Maybe for you, but everyone else on this site thinks differently. (Also since when did even casual players bother getting all trophies in most games, some of them are totally whack) "

MLSTRM, There's so many trophy hunters out there, it's ridiculous. They all try to get trophies of course. There is such a low amount of people using this website compared to speedrunners on Twitch and Youtube. I could find more examples of speedruns on them than here. This is a wake up call you all. Something needs to change here to make it much different in order for it to truly grow. Whether my opinions are true or not. Something should change. If this website is mainly a place to go to view speedrun records, then it should include game data records with time stamps from all consoles and PC gaming (even if it's just Steam records from PC). Not just selective game videos submitted by only 0.00000000001 % of the total gaming community.

Meanwhile, PC gaming will diminish in popularity when people finally come to their senses and realize there is no sense of accomplishment in a no trophy record world where hacking, over control of game settings, and how different the "accomplishments" are from the harder and way more extensive achievements that are within the playstation and xbox world. The more this website doesn't make an even playing field for console gamers and be completely dependent upon users submitting game videos, the more it will NEVER grow. Twitch and Youtube will dominate and people will flock to the console upgrades and most won't even consider or desire to be a PC gamer or be a pointless speedrunner for a little known website. This is all true and I do know more about speedrunning than all of you combined because I see the big picture and you do not.

I'm sorry but the whole speedrunning idea is only impressive if you are performing the game from beginning to end while playing the game the way it was meant to be played without skipping chapters while accomplishing all the developer created tasks (like the trophy lists within the playstation universe). PC gamers can cut out load times and even fly in the air to the end of chapters like Crysis 1 without accomplishing ANY tasks all they want but it will not be something to be proud of and certainly will not justify a WR (world record) to be slapped on it's title for anything, not even an any% tag. I think it's great if speedrunners try to get donations for charities but I frown upon any clipping or skipping without playing the game right. If you want this website to only be about that then keep doing what you're doing. Meanwhile,

So when I look around on this website, all I see is a handful of speedrun records for every game. For example, 5 people submit a speedrun attempt and out of the 5 people, one of them has the so called world record but most people don't record their game play and I'm pretty sure the records on this website are only 0.0000001% of the total records out there for all consoles and PC gaming. If people on here want to truly feel that they achieved a world record speedrun time then this website should drastically change to add the time stamp data from all consoles and PC games. Until then, psnprofiles website is the closest thing to that even though it is only playstation network time stamp data related to speedrun times. I understand a website like this speedrun website has to develop and grow like any other website but the current data is very limited and should not be viewed as the best speedrun times until PC gaming and console gaming in general is more focused in speedrun time stamps. And when PC gaming is more regulated to rule out hackers, cheaters, and game adjusters. And when consoles accurately save game playthrough time stamps not involving load time or any other time while not playing on the game. And when this speedrun website adds the data of the 99.99999% of gamers out there instead of just the few gamers for each game adding videos on here.

There is something huge missing from this website. Playstation network and Xbox Live both record data of total time it takes to complete all trophies or achievements. This data could be auto updated into this website like the psnprofiles website does it. This would not only showcase the 100% trophy/achievement fastest completion (speedrun) world records and leaderboards but also make this the first website to compare historic records from both major consoles. It would involve records on this website without game video proof but trophy data records from psnprofiles website are as much proof as the playstation network itself. Sometimes trophy hackers come along but they are moderated and deleted from records with enough member complaints. I feel this is needed as many people like me view most speedruns in general as a pointless way to rush through games achieving nothing while encouraging cheating involving skipping through areas of the game. Trophy speedruns will encourage a clever way to complete the game the fastest while achieving a number of tasks that the game developers created for it. It general it's the way the game was meant to be played. I've seen the only 100% category of games here and all I see is single playthoughs that never involve the playstation trophy list related 100% tasks.
