Greetings, Speedrun.com OKR members. With the introduction of the eras, I would like to clarify some key points to keep in mind !

• Each era includes different walkspeed, map versions and different timer.

• Eras were introduced to keep the site up to date, improve its appearance and adapt to the evolution of the game. This system helps to preserve the history of the game.

• It is possible that this measurement may cause some races to be not quite accurate. If you find any of your races that do not match the corresponding era, let us know by contacting a moderator.

• The moderation team spent a lot of time assigning each race to its corresponding era, and we hope you appreciate it. If you notice any errors, please let us know.

• Don’t be discouraged if you see your current time surpassed by a run from a past era—remember, the game mechanics were different then.

• We have not placed eras in the glitches category because we have decided to create variables that are independent of running speed or any other significant change.

• A new era is created when there are notable changes in game mechanics (such as a new timer, walkspeed changes, revamped maps, etc.).

• The most recent runs correspond to the "Current Patch," which includes runs from the latest game update. The "Previous Patch" refers to the era before the current update.

• If there is an intermediate year between updates, where the changes are not entirely clear, a new era will be created, and the runs from that year will be assigned to the appropriate era, similar to what happened with OKR 2021.

• If in the future maps marked with (*) return to the game, we will not create a new patch unless there are notable changes to OKR that may affect the leaderboard.

(Note: This doesn’t mean a new “era” will be created every year; the decision is made by the moderation team based on significant changes in the game that affect the leaderboard)
