Good morning y'all!

I recently submitted a run, but realized that there was a little help box that said "Emulators are banned." I am curious as to why that is? As I understand there are a couple of PS1 emulators considered extremely accurate such as Mednafen or Duckstation and are even superior to the software emulation done by the PS3 which is an allowed platform. (I know there is a difference depending on PS3 models in that the early model had hardware emulation of the PS2 and later versions removed the hardware emulation in favor of software emulation)

Would it be possible to allow PS1 emulation (Mednafen/Duckstation) or at least have a separate category for PS1 emulation?
