There is a difference between the old and new i have been playing vex 3 for a couple years and I can distinctly tell multiple differences between them if you want to know which is which go on crazygames.com the old version is Vex 3 (flash) and the new version is Just Vex 3 if you play both of them you can see many differances such as the new version the guy dosent jump as high and you die from falling at a much shorter distance then with the old version.

The Old version and the new version work differently I feel that the new version you can't jump as high. And in that case you wont be able to perform certain skips as easily then with the old version. And i personaly feel that the new version is a little bit harder. But other then that the levels are the same, just minor differences.
