I'm having trouble with this trainer id manip for NSC on pkm blue

specifically, the part where u have to do the a b start select I can't do it before the textbox asking to clear save data loads

is there an easy version of the manip ??

I want to speedrun on virtual console for glitchless but the rng manips don’t work on there and I wouldn’t mind looking for manips on it but don’t know how

How viable is not doing a manip in the run ???
