If you don't trigger chapter 6 before entering chapter 3, it would waste around 4.5 mins. Route would be the same (in terms of the fights), you just need to go get the yoshi egg the normal way. (this used to be how we did it before HRG).

This seams like a very good speed game. Zip and zipless, I hope the community gets bigger. This is by far my favorite pop game.

Ya I pretty much realize if i want to do zips I need the PC version haha. I might get it.

Question in the subject. I can do them on ps3 but not consistently at all. It seems like it would be way easier on PC so you can bind move to wheel. I never get nearly the same distance on them as I see in videos.

Just thought I'd post my opinion, not trying to start an arguement.

I get that the runs are still pretty similar but to me the time save alone is enough to split them.

Because of the time difference the versions are basically already split on the leaderboards, the top section being jap and bottom being eng (besides like one run). There is no way an eng runner can beat those jap times, they will always be split like that. So why not just actually split them?

Also for me its not a matter of avoididng getting jap version, i bought one. But i like the eng run also; I will probably still run eng some more even when I have jap. The runs are pretty similar but they are also pretty different (new glitches, small changes like staying in perial after end chapters etc) that's what made me want to try jap, a new experience even if its not major. And jap is harder than eng.

Anyway, just my opinion. Let's just hope palace skip is found then everyone can agree they should split xD
