Have you clicked on Full-game Leaderboard yet, pretty much all possible speedrunable categories are added. All-Star/Cruel smash are point-scoring gamemodes that do not run on time. Random CPU fights are not a speedrun. Adding individual stages for EVERY single character is terrible, why submit to a single stage rather than the entire Classic mode... the entire IL Leaderboard would be cluttered and makes completely no sense to add such things. Nothing new needs to be added.
No, it is Olimar with the players option to not use pikmin, you can do that and submit to the category, but making a category solely on this is pretty bad, the smash 4 board never had such a thing.
I disagree, as it is a much longer 1P run, it would not be correct to allow both players to pick say mario/dk, then go to link/samus completely skipping dk's path, adding in more characters each stage doesnt make enough of a difference to add it.
Comparing All Music to whatever this is is a joke. This is basically Festival% but without the festival and with a different end, and that has actual competition. CE is not a "meme" board whatsoever, if you see something that is possibly a meme on here, it more than likely has competition.
Each character has there own set path, P1 is always the path, having all characters co-op is the same as solo, makes no sense at all.
Milliseconds have no purpose for RTA, people who submit with it are usually submitting an incorrect time, it is only useful for IGT since the game accurately displays clear times. With IGT, it's good as an optional timing method, eventually when people start getting ties with RTA, IGT can determine who is faster to break ties. It is also not good as a main timing method simply because there's more to just adding IGT, you have to calculate each stage, add them up, etc. We want to be speedrunner friendly, RTA is the way to go with IGT remaining optional.
Its split because they are all 3 different separate methods from one another, mixing them makes no sense, the objective is to unlock the characters as fast as possible, Vs. is the fastest way so why would you include Classic and World of Light with that and vice versa? It makes complete sense as someone may want to run the category a specific way to these 3 subcategories. Makes perfect sense, this was decided with the community anyway so.
The rules were not finished yet, vs. and classic Unlock All Characters are to be done Solo only.

I'm having this same issue trying to create the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate leaderboard, as one of the other mods done this a few weeks ago without realizing the 2 week prior to release policy, it now shows us the invalid game error when we try to "recreate" it in a sense.
Moon Cave isn't necessarily an IL, it has no end result or actual purpose. I did a few speedruns of it the first few weeks of the games release, later found it pointless even as a category extension.
Emulator's load times are very much faster than console, would lead to a disadvantage. The game has plenty of runners on console, making a subcategory specifically for emulator is not necessary.
Interesting question, since it's Co-op, I think doing two different characters at a time would make more sense.
Oh I was going to check that later tonight, since we brought back Assist Mode we haven't completely discussed about allowing Dupes for Dark and Darker Side, some have said to leave it for a "No Restrictions" like category on CE and what not. Thanks for the confirmation.
