Any particular reason emulators are banned? I have the original game but no capture software for my Wii U, so it would be a lot easier to submit runs with screen recordings from Cemu, if you would allow it.

So I was one of the first mods for this game and I left a couple years ago but now I'm back on a more consistent basis. Any way I could be added back as a mod? I really loved moderating this game I just couldn't when I left cause I was a lot busier then. Would appreciate consideration

Since time race is the in-game speedrunning mode, shouldn't it be a main category or at least a misc. category as opposed to being in the level leaderboard?

Are you allowed to have someone guide you during a blindfolded run (telling you what to do during the run) or must it be completely independent? I assume that you cannot be coached, but I wanted to make sure before practicing the run.

This is probably a dumb question, but the most recent world record was done in Britain. Was it done on a PAL console, and if so wouldn’t the FPS and the timing be different?

I may be dumb but what is 20XX/C-Stick

So, I was considering running the full game (All 256 Levels) and was wondering if a video link would be required because it would take a few hours and I don’t think I could record that long. I wanted to ask before I ran so I didn’t do a 4 hour run that couldn’t be verified lol. Any response from the mods would be appreciated

I have a couple ideas for a Sonic Mania Category Extensions page...but cannot make it unless I am a mod. Would someone be willing to add me as mod or make the CE page and add me as a mod to that?

You still have to collect each number of stars, except all doors can be unlocked and you can have ny amount going into it. For example: 70 Star - You have to collect 70 Power Stars and beat the 3 Bowsers (BITS Last) 120 Star - You have to have less than 50 in order to get 1st MIPS Star but other than that: All 120 and 3 Bowsers (BITS Last) 0 Star - 3 Bowsers 1 Star - Collect Board Bowser's Sub and 3 Stars 16 Star - Grab 16 Stars and beat the 3 Bowsers. This might be a category extension; just figured I'd put it here first.

This Category would be similar to 80 Star, except instead, you would have to collect the 120 power stars from Super Mario 64. There are a few that aren't exact, so here are their equivalents:

SL In the Deep Freeze - Yoshi's Ice Sculpture THI 5 Secrets - Klepto the Condor MIPS (Before 50 and After 50) - Glowing Rabbits Star and Secret Room Star (White Room in Character Swap)

This sounds like a really fun category and would be a lot quicker than 150 star but still requiring immense skill.

Hope this is taken into consideration by the mods! If there were any mistakes (Star replacements that were left out or otherwise) then let me know!
