United StatesWe are able to just play on v1.0.1, we don't have to switch to the new version, but new versions could have their own bugs that could help, but for me I'm sticking with 1.0.1 until there's a reason to use the update.
I recently joined the Chucklefish Discord (Inmost's producers) and one of Inmost's developers suggested some things to improve our times. Here's what they said:
"1. You can overjump first hunter from the right ladder 2. Holding roll button while landing will skip landing animation (parkour!) 3. Pressing roll on a most corners with perfect timing will speed up character forward while he falls 4. It is possible to take rope climbing device without dropping cave monster from a cliff. He is not reacting on a small bells when attack animation in progress (never tried, but some testers did)"
I bet this can help shave off a bit of time. I reccomend you join the discord, its discord.gg/chucklefish i think.
Yeah I agree, I'll start working on that right now. also ThiccBoiiNoodles you can put that video in the guide section to make it easy to find for others if you want, and thanks for making it, I was able to get the skip!
You probably know that Speedrun.com leaderboards allow mods to change the 1st - 4th place trophies in order to relate to the game, but I can't think of anything good to use, thoughts?
So I saw how CROMPY was able to somehow skip the whole child scene saving a whole couple minutes. As soon as I saw it I tried to recreate it but failed, and originally I thought I failed because I didn't die in the process, but as ThiccBoiiNoodles's new PB has shown it doesn't matter, does anyone have any theories on how to get the skip?
