The old version of Chex Quest 3 has a bug where the key doors in E3M2 act like normal doors. This obviously saves a huge chunk of time. Is this WAD allowed for speedrunning?
I saw in some E1M1 runs that they started the level already in position, how do I do this?
Why is turning off movebob not considered cheating, but freelook and jump are? Both are features the game wasn't designed for.
How would you approach doing a No Monsters run of Chex Quest 3, since E3M5 requires Lord Snotfolus to be killed to end the level? Would you just stop at E1M4 and take that time instead (the way it's done in Doom, where this same problem exists)?
I mean, some of the earlier versions even required you to jump at some points to progress.
