Hi guys, As You can see, none of the moderators, including me are active in speedrunning, therefore there are issues with accepting runs. Today I logged in after 2 years and looked at all submissions waiting in the queue.

I'm watching new WR from ndt and he uses manifest cheat code in NG run. Since when it is allowed? Shouldn't this count as NG+ run?

60fps is also a little bit faster in movement since game physics is tied to framerate. This is why most of the runners play at 60 and I personally don't see why we should split leaderboard for fps categories because they are not that much different.

How about Remake any% and Buziol any%?

At this point all runs are obsolete because new levels were added :D That's gonna be hard to manage.

Slobs has worse performance than obs studio, lacks ton of features and generally is just a bad software as for now. They are now paying streamers to use it which tells a lot about the company.

Ubuntu got supermod, Mech got regular for now. Generate unlimited discord link so I can join aswell.

There are only 3-4 active runners and already 3 mods (2 inactive/partial). Do we really need another one? If Yes then how would You like to help?

I don't see any problem, you are very active and since I moved to speedrun other games, I can give You a mod to expand SMBX.

Finally I found a setup to speedrun. I will play the game on laptop, and avermedia will capture screen to PC (with half second delay). I also used my webcam to show laptop screen.

So my future runs might have some weird time starting/stopping, because I will start the timer once I hit start.

once you switched character and choosed level, the game crashed.

That would be hard to execute on purpose because for example, on windows 7, I was crashing on v1.3 but on windows 10 not so it's quite random in terms, how it works but some players were experiencing the issue.

I just want to remind You that we never accepted character switching and please respect that rule. This is why I rejected copyleft run. While You had option to switch them in overworld and run it, other people got a crash and started all over again. We want to make sure, everyone is playing on same level, no matter what game version they are using.

Have You tried new version of smbx 2? What Do You think about new official episodes, game performance and new features? Should I add new episodes to the categories to bring some attention? I played yesterday for few minutes an episode with SMW worldmap and looked very cool.

I always thought frame skipping will remove 'slow down' effect, the downside is, you will skip frames sometimes which can distract You from doing precise jumps.
