Is there any way I can use live split on the side of my ps5 recording when I speed run security breach? Or is that not possible? Thanks in advance.

Im new to speedrunning the last of us 2 and had a question about my recording. so is there any way if I need to do something off the game like having to get off to do chores or something, then does that mean I cant cut the recording of the time im off the game or does that just mean I cant submit the run? Thanks for any feedback.
