I constantly ask myself "what are people doing these days" to see (1) Do people actually do the hardest strats (2) What consoles have people played on recently (3) Who are the new people (4) Who has been improving. I usually have to do various filters and scroll down pages for games that have a decent amount of runners, but I think a sorting feature by date (not filer, just a sort by clicking the word "Date") would help with that.
Additionally, sorting to find the oldest, current personal bests could yield interesting results.

The glitch performed on the leaderboards (from what I can tell) can't be reproduced using an official N64 controller. I have documented why that is in this video:
This means that runners using the standard N64 controller can't compete with those that have purchased replacement joysticks or third party controllers. While I can see the argument for making people purchase new joysticks since the cost is very low, I think it would be nice to showcase the unique glitch that this game has in an environment separate from normal game play.
In an effort to properly display this, my suggestion is to:
- Create a Any% category allowing any controller to be used to perform this glitch (I nominate the name to be "Any% Any Controller")
- Create a Glitchless category to allow a competitive atmosphere for people with every controller that does not allow the Speed Glitch (I nominate the name to be Glitchless Any%)
- Put the Any% Any Controller category as the first tab since it is the fastest you can beat the game.
- Add a document in the resources tab that explains the glitch and the requirements to perform it.
I see a reference to a Discord in another forum post but I don't see any invite links on this website or Google.
I have a strategy in mind that involves GIM, which you can't do on an emulator unless you have the plugin. Is it okay to use and submit a run with or no?
