Hello everyone,

Anyone willing to share a savegame for the japanese version so i can practice speedrunning in lone wolf?

Unfortunately the saves i found for the jpn version doesn´t have lonewolf unlocked. I can always speedrun a few levels but others are faster played in lone wolf.

I have USA version with everything unlocked but the tracker just works on jpn version so its worthless for posting runs on the leaderboard.

So i am a RE1 classic speedrunner that might soon start practicing RE2 classic too, but i was interested in playing the special mode (hunk/tofu) first.

I downloaded a bunch of saves from the resources and end all scenarios from the last save avaliable of each one (basically the boss fights).

But it seems it´s necessary to complete a 2nd run from a save you make after ending the normal run, right? On RE1 it´s called NG+.

If that´s the case, can anyone share a save on the last battle from a NG+ run?

I would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to speedrun barry mod version 1.6 which i noticed received an update too, which changed the items location (i am not talking about version 2.1).

I am trying to figure out a best route for mansion 1 as the items are in different locations as the runs on the leaderboard. You start with a magnum (with 0 rounds) and a FAS (no knife), in the main hall instead of a beretta you have magnum rounds on the floor.

It seems the game forces me to go shoot the zombie and push the statue on the 2nd floor (like in the chris run) because if i go to the blue door in the beginning and the pick the key in the furniture where is a zombie, the game crashes, i tried a few times and it crashed all the time.

Its crashing even if i go to the jill cutscene in the safe room and go back to pick the key, but if i go to other locations first it wont crash. Weird but i havent figured out the issue with the crash.

The lighter is in the place of a crest in the gas room, and the music score is in the mirror room in the first floor. The chemical is outside where there is two dogs, the knife is in the safe room where normally the chemical is on chris run.

There is a key in the 2nd floor where you have to light the candles and push the drawer. the guardhouse i think is the same and mansion 2 there is a mo disk in the place of the red book and if i remember correctly the red book is on 2nd floor in the area where the battery is located (sorry i dont know exactly the room name).

I am trying to figure out the best route on mansion 1 without overlapping too much, it seems that this way you have to go back and forth more than in the chris run, but unlike some of you, i know the map but not like in a route optimized way, if i can say that :)

Hello there, i have a little question. I searched on the forum and on the rules but haven´t found any answer to my doubt. Is it OK to submit a run using some hints on the splits name? Like left, right, etc? Most of my splits have funny names but there is some specific parts of the game i haven´t memorized the route well enough yet, so it helps me run better along those parts. I supposed its OK because i saw other players using that kind of mechanism but its always better to clarify. Thanks for your time.
