Here is a TAS I created to see how quickly Toy Story Racer can be completed in the shortest possible time. I made it just for fun and to see how long it takes to finish the game perfectly.

It's not a perfect run, far from it, but I'm proud of the two years it took to make. For those curious to see, here it is:

In theory, hitting the pixels on the frames perfectly and losing the least possible time in all the racing challenges, it is still impossible to finish in less than 3 hours, it would still be above that.

It seems that if done well, all tracks it is possible to win the lap trial this way. The old way takes longer, making you waste more than 5 to 10 seconds walking on the wall.

So far I've only been able to do this on two tracks and both using RC.

As this is not allowed in individual races, in character towers this greatly reduces the time.

Since this is the second time I've achieved this, I can test ways to make this work consistently.

Moving quickly to post an old video I had made in 2020 using some shortcuts and strategies. Nothing so optimized that it can't improve.
