@MR.C RE3R will not be moderated by the same team. From what I understand, the SRC mods choose who the moderation team for a new game is. They may ask someone to join, but that it totally up to them.

The rules say "Standard Any% run", does this mean you have to run it on Heavy? Or can it be ran on Light?

Correct, this is against the rules. You cannot load auto saves. The only time you can "load" is hitting continue after a death.

You need to buy a legitimate copy of RE2R.

You have a few options. You can stream your runs to Twitch or Youtube and then make a video out of the run. You can change your recording settings to record for an hour, then double tap on the share button to start recording, which saves it to your PS4.

The last option, and the best, is to get a capture card and record on a PC.

Also, pausing for long periods of times makes splicing runs together easier.

I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. The requirement for FPS being shown is just that, it has to be shown at all times. I would wait for a mod to chime in, but like I said I don't see why not.

If you are running A, you don't need the True End split active. That is for the B runs, as their final boss is G5 which is the true end of the game. You only need the first end split active.

It's been fixed. I believe the link is in the SRT development thread, or on the SRT section of the Discord.

It's risky, but if you run straight at them and then quickly turn around they will try to grab you. You can then run right by them most of the time. Or you can keep your distance and they will start to puke out baby G's. You can run past them as they do this, just don't get hit by the babies.

I am in agreement that we should switch over to RTA for timing.

We really don't need to change anything right now. The boards and categories are fine the way they are right now.

Putting console with PC isn't a good idea because of the reasons already presented. A controller will never be faster then mouse and keyboard at top level play.

On the topic of removing NG+, just why? Why remove people's hard work and dedication to a category? It might be a meme, but it's a fun meme to run.

I strongly believe that things are fine the way they are. I don't believe changes are needed. Also, the CE boards are fine how and where they are.

I agree with Loner/Cosmic, RTA doesn't provide a huge enough advantage to warrant ignoring as an option.

The mods should just be able to delete the duplicate submission. Nothing to worry about.

Pausing doesn't effect how fast or slow the run is because we use IGT to time the game. The timer isn't moving when paused, but neither are you. In your scenario you would still win if you had the fastest IGT. Runs are based on how well you perform your actions, not your inaction IE: pausing the game.

Like stated above, the new HG only isn't as popular as we thought it would be, and there isn't much activity on the CE boards. There isn't any plans to add a new category anytime soon.

We only recently got Handgun only and it isn't as popular as I figured it would be. I feel like there would be even less of a demand for a Shotgun only category.
