PCSX2, at least for me (but this isn't about me, but whatever), is just as good as Dolphin and easier to configure and use. There's probably something that I don't know that the community does, which in that case, I'd really appreciate if someone could enlighten me.
I know OBS is pretty common, and I've been using it for a couple weeks since I got my new PC, but ever since, I've also tried out NVIDIA's built-in screen recorder and, to be honest, I had a better experience with the latter more. I've been using it to record my runs now and the recording always came out perfect. Plus, it has an indicator icon on the corner of the screen (which doesn't appear in the final video footage, so that's a +1) that lets you know if it's still recording or not, so that gets rid of the paranoia. Also, it's easier to use since it requires less setup before recording and has settings that aren't that advanced (no need to be as it mostly just reads the advanced stuff from the PC specs anyway, though I understand why OBS would require more setup).
I'm looking for the best NDS emulator that is pretty good in performance for PC. I found quite a few but I don't want to blindly download a software I don't even know will work properly since it can just turn out to be a virus or a wacky emulation. Every suggestion is appreciated.
Hello, this is meant to be a small complaint about a game I requested for the site. The game's name is "Captain Tsubasa" for the PS2 platform. The request got rejected because of it having the exact same title as the NES version of the game. (To avoid any misunderstandings, the game's title was "Captain Tsubasa", not "Captain Tsubasa (NES)" when I requested it. More info on the name change up ahead.)
Now, this obviously would be a fair reason for the rejection if I haven't specifically mentioned in the Additional Info section of the request that by the time I requested the game, I made an explanation that on this post , I have already made a request to change the title of the NES version to Captain Tsubasa (NES) and as you can see right now, the request was handled and the title was changed.
Now, you might be asking, why didn't I just request it with a different title. The reason I didn't find this rejection fair is that the request could've easily be kept on hold and be reviewed the next day, but the rejection reason gives me the feeling that whoever rejected it only looked at the game title in the request and immediately hit reject request without looking any further.
So, there's this one guy in a leaderboard I moderate. He recently created his account and the first run he has ever submitted was to the game I moderate. The core of my confusion is that the "run" he submitted is 3 hours longer than the average time, and the video is supposedly a full game playthrough rather than an attempt to speedrun. Should I accept the submission?

I may have missed some announcement and I apologize if this has been mentioned before, but when I try to add a game to a series as a series moderator, it gives me nothing but an error. I tried it multiple times and it still didn't work.
Can there be a category where you kill Connor 8 times to get the I'll Be Back trophy? Timing ends when the trophy pops up on screen. I'm planning to run it soon.
About a year ago, a change to the site was made that regular mods can no longer edit nor delete other users' forum posts in the games they moderate in. However, I have just discovered that this wasn't completely removed. I was checking out some old forum posts in a game I moderate. As usual, the three dots that used to say "Edit post" and "Delete post" weren't there. However, when I went to the user's who posted the post's "Forum posts" section to look at that again, the three dots were there.
To make myself 100% clear, here are a couple screenshots:
I think this should be fixed.
Tl;dr Regular mods can still edit and delete other users' posts through the specific person's "Forum posts" section.

Granny has recently came out for PC in Steam. It has better graphics, better control, and different gameplay style. I think we should have seperate sub/categories for PC and Mobile versions.
I think we should have the ability to link our PSN, Xbox Live, and other console accounts on our profile so that people can have another way to contact us and view our profiles at the same time.
After December 16, we will finally be able to play through Paper Trail without being forced to do the browser based puzzles and quests. So, I'm guessing that the mission can finally have it's own category (perhaps miscellaneous).
So, getting to the actual point, the Evil Karma route will obviously be faster than the Good Karma route due to your powers being stronger and all (especially video). So most people will probably run with full upgraded Evil Karma.
For timing, I already came up with this:
Timing starts on pressing up on the directional buttons for the first part of the mission. Timing ends on collecting Celia's final origami dove in the final part of the mission.
I'll probably run this mission. What do you guys think about this?

If you seriously think that is true, then you shouldn't be a moderator! A moderator's job is to reject wrong runs without video and fix the wrong timed ones.
The Highest Score and 50/20 Best Time categories are really, in fact, unnecessary and don't fit. There is seriously no competition in those, because there is a set time and score for how far you can go. And if a lot of people reach those scores, the board will be filled with 1st places. And the 1st places that are already here aren't actually the real world records. There are already non-speedrunners who went so close to getting the 10000 score and 4:30.0 time in 50/20. Highscore categories would only make sense if there was no limit in how far you can go. So, yeah, those miscellaneous categories should be removed!
I don't think this leaderboard should exist because (I am totally ok with highscore leaderboards, btw) there isn't anything like an endless night. Like, if someone gets 4:30, which is the 6 AM time of each night, and someone else gets the same, then someone else and this keeps on going, everyone will get 1st place which will make the leaderboard ridiculous. I don't know if I'm not seeing something here, but yeah, that's what I want to say..
