Since he's asking if something is okay, it's safe to assume he wants his time on the leaderboard. Otherwise, why would he need to ask?
All future emulator submissions need to show proof of the emulator used.
No you can't do runs with the no music cheat code on lol, cheat codes on for runs????
If you want 30 and 50 you can head on over to www.speedrun.com/sm64memes
Making a new game is the best option. On top of all the other reasons, as a mod I certainly don't want to get flooded with more and more runs to verify/reject of dumb categories that are done for fun. A new game would allow people who wanna deal with that shit to do that.
Yes you have to do another run and start from power on
Locking thread, no need for further discussion
I don't know what people will agree on in terms of which deserve to be there but either way, if the activity of the categories doesn't significantly increase then they should be removed again.
I have mixed opinions, honestly. Because of that I feel leaving it as is, for now at least, is best. I'm not sure if this year is the time when this is needed. Maybe some time in the future I could see it happening.
People posting things that aren't constructive to the discussion. :/
I'd be fine with hiding by default, keeping them there for the people just getting into the game, perhaps.
I'm not sure what you're saying at all tbh. The video wasn't private when he submit it in the first place but as soon as he does that you Jumpyluff down our throats
Don't verify runs without video evidence. http://www.speedrun.com/run/7ylvv4rm Please fill the "Video link" box upon submissions. Anybody checking this will catch the mistake.
If you're on Wii U VC then go to emu, Wii U VC has terrible input delay.
No pics aren't gonna cut it. You can record the run with a webcam/phone/camera though. If you're on N64 now, wait until you get a cap card, don't go to emu.
The fuck you mean bullied for running a category. No one bullies anyone for running 30/31/45 lmfao fuck outta here.
You don't split as soon as you turn on the console though, there's about one second when you flick the switch before you start the timer. Personally I just think that it's silly to not start from power on no matter what. Thanks though.
