I appreciate that the intent here is to be transparent, but I feel like the information that someone is banned should not be accessible to anyone other than the mods and the party banned, and the option to share it to a wider public should be left to the latter. You can keep a list internally and when someone in the list submits a run you can be like "Insta-rejected because you are a banned user". That would be much better. Just reading through this thread shows why it is a shit-show.

I just want to say this is incredibly dumb. This is something that you must keep inside the mods channel of your discord. This is not something for public display at all. Especially the fact that it includes players that didn't even play this game yet makes it worse. PS: I am not talking about dream, but you guys gave his stans a decent point to argue about. Anyways I don't even care about this game, but consider removing this and keeping this internally.

If there is a language barrier, its going to be there here as well. Though it seems to me that so far that we are doing fine in that aspect :D But yeah, the main reason I suggested discord is lesser response time between exchanges. But if you prefer to get the issue fixed here itself, that's fine as well.
So yeah is the issue that splits are not happening at all or just that game time not being saved? If it's the latter that's not an issue at all since this game only uses real time. If you use game time for some other game then you have to switch to real time for this game.

Edit: I now see your edit. I am not sure why you want game time saved. This game only uses an RTA timing.
Hey! There are quite a lot of ports of the game and the general consensus seems to be that categories would be added for them on demand (They are not created by default in the interest of not having them empty for too long). For better and more efficient communication, I would recommend you to join the discord server, you can talk with the mods of the game and also with other runners (of various other ports of the game), we can discuss about making a category for the Genesis / Mega Drive version :D
Consistency. We are playing in an emulator which is not an "official" way of playing the game. So we create a standard to ensure that things are same and fair for everyone who runs the game.
Huh? I think this game is timed in RTA? Why do you need IGT? In any case if there is an IGT it will be a script that can be activated via livesplit.
Also, technically and optimally for speedruns you need not even go out of your way to purchase the skins, the game only checks if you have the stars, it doesn't check if you have the skins unlocked or not when counting your progress, all you need to complete the speedrun is get the 100% completion screen.
That sounds like a glitch I had in my casual playthrough once. Ideally it is possible to unlock everything but sometimes you somehow just end up not having enough stars. I don't have a clear idea how but I have been preventing it by NOT purchasing anything when I have partially completed a level (ie. When I have only collected a fraction of stars in it). Also I think you made a small error in total stars needed, don't forget that the first few weapons only need 2 stars ;)
Edit:- So I did the math: There are 108 stars. 3 x 10 = 30 stars from prisoners 3 x 10 = 30 stars from mission in each level 4 X 4 X 3 = 48 stars from all the challenges
Thats 30+30+48 = 108 stars.
Note that the first skin of each category is unlocked by default. There are 10 costumes of which 9 require 3 stars each to unlock = 27 stars. There are 8 projectiles of which 7 require 3 stars each to unlock = 21 stars. There are 7 parachutes of which 6 require 3 stars each to unlock = 18 stars. There are 16 weapons of which 3 require 2 stars each and 12 require 3 stars each to unlock = 6 + 36 = 42 stars.
Thats 27+21+18+42 = 108 stars.
Which matches exactly with the total possible stars possible to get.
