This category would not be for the main leaderboard but runs like this are always welcome on the Category Extension Leaderboard (speedrun.com/hce).

Our policy for CEs is: If there are 3 different runners that did a run they could submit, we Mods will create the category. Best way to find other people to run a category like this is on our Discord Server!

While I'm open to the idea of the run I see two problems:

1. The run is 95% RNG
2. Starting this run is difficult because you can't reset just the liberation progress. So starting the run needs to be done on a save with a completed main story but without any liberation progress. And a reset means that you need to play the main story again. Maybe this problem could be solved with having a prepared save file that you can copy on a reset but I haven't looked into how the save files are stored at all. So I don't know if this is easily possible.

I noticed some drastic changes to the game as well. I was unsure how to deal with it though so far and I didn't time the changes myself so thank you for that!

I agree that the differences are big enough to warrant a split even though I'm not a friend of splitting a small leaderboard. Adding a version tag is definitely something I can do for now. Definitely open for more discussion on this topic

Definitely interesting! Probably not useful but I like to know another way to get under the map.

Sorry for the late reply. You are absolutely right that it makes a difference of ~2sec. I have changed the Timing Rules to "When you press "Start Story" from a new save or when the loading icon disappears, when you select "Chapter 1" from the Chapter Selection."

I also subtracted 2sec from each submitted run, so they fit to the current timing rules.

Added iOS and Mac. I was looking for AppleArcade in the Platform List but could not find it. Did not think to just add iOS and Mac to it

Other people already said that they would like to boost specific people and I agree that this should be an option. I would like the random boost to stay, but I would really like to see which people I boosted.
