I can do that already by modifying carts, or using a Gameshark. Is there another reason?
I've never gotten into overclocking, but I'm just using the default settings on the emulator decided by the community. It'd be nice if we had an option that didn't totally bug out :3. If someone has an advantage within the rules, they'll use it. I'm not saying emulators will be a serious option (even though I don't see why they shouldn't be, I support emulators), but it's good for people who don't have capture kits yet.
Yes, I'm using that specific version. I have the full video of me reproducing the issue too. I believe I am on that version anyways, this is the link I obtained my version from: https://archive.org/details/1964GEPD
I tried the mouse injector too, it's cool. It's the one with the mouse injector plugin, not exe.
Edit: Here's me playing with the glitch some more in the same night
It just makes me wonder what else isn't emulated accurately.
Any chance we could have Project 64 1.6 and 1.7 allowed just like the OoT community has? 1964 should be banned IMO because it's far from accurate emulation in PD: (this is VERY easy to reproduce BTW).
Hey, I own a USA copy of Perfect Dark, but I've had about 30 carts go missing of other games. I'd like the flexibility of trying other regions for games too. I'm curious as to the reasoning for no everdrive. I could buy a flashcart and fake a copy of the game, and make it indistinguishable. What's the reasoning for banning the everdrive? PD doesn't even have resets (which are slower on the Everdrive anyways...), is it an issue with the everdrive saving quicker?
Not complaining, just curious. Cheers!
