For games that haven't been released yet they usually have someone, in this case, who was mod of the original game or if they are a series mod. They don't usually let random people submit the game before it's released.

I've created a new page and added you as Moderator. You'll have to figure out all the specifics of the game (name [since there is likely more than one Risk for Mobile, etc., release date, and the remaining details, categories, rules, etc.)

Once you've get the general gist of it, I'll make you supermod and remove myself.

Since it's completely independant to the story, there probably won't be a category split, unless you can catch something crazy in the new areas that beats the game faster than current routes (since you'll be able to go there whenever you want after you first got to the Wild Area)

as for the route, currently we use fennekin and catch panpour for cut/surf/whirlpool/waterfall, and get the free rufflet from the guard north of goldenrod for strength/fly. if you don't want to bother with panpour, you can catch a bunnelby earlier (for cut/surf), then catch a tympole or palpitoad in ecruteak for whirlpool/waterfall.

the detailed notes explain in more depth, but it's ideal to reset for a fennekin with very good special, and good defense is important for the first split too. generally I prefer to take fennekins with 10 DEF/12 SPA/12 SPD at level 5. you can take 9 DEF, but you will be more likely to die to wild pokemon (we kill two encounters before mr. pokemon to get an extra level for froakie and violet gym) and the fletchling in the gym.

Weve tested this strat and unfortunately the rake unloads before touching the water. Therefore it makes it impossible to give an accurate timing of when it goes into the lake

Smash games generally don't have CEs because the main and secondary modes are good enough to be on one board (Extras category being an exception for WoL and SSE). Anything outside of the box and other ideas people share usually are too arbitrary to be on a proper leaderboard. If you wish to run random categories you create yourself, nothing is stopping you or anyone else. If others are interested, they could make a spreadsheet for categories, we have a few members of the brawl community who decided to do that.

@DemataPyro I dont know if there is different and how big is that different if there is different in Pokémon Sword/Shield, but, if there if, in all case, always is faster in Digital than in Physical.
For example, in Super Mario Odyssey, is 10 seconds faster, and the WR is no more than 59 minutes lul lol lmao.

Probably the different reach to 45-60 seconds

Yes you can but unfortunately that category will not be on the leaderboards due to the lack of popularity.

The Japanese version was found to be significantly faster due to the enemies in the game having 50% reduced hp. That note you mentioned was corrected in the current, updated notes.

Categories can be made if emulator runs become something people want to do, for sure. Emulator saves a LOT of time over hardware so it would definitely need to be split.
