I always practiced with the old route which was Bombs, Magnesis, Cryonis, and then Stasis. I have not followed this community as far as the new route as I am bad at tree launches and stuff. I preferred the old route. SO how much does this save? I heard that going to Magnesis first was faster so if you do it the normie route which is Magnet, Bomb, Cryo, and then Stasis, would that save time? Basically, I just want to know if it worth switching to the new route for GP instead of practicing the old one.

Don't listen to me. I am not even into speedrunning Pokémon a lot due to RNG. But still, a possible fun idea is adding a new half quest category. When the credits roll when you beat Lance for the first time, the timer stops. I think it would make it a lot shorter. Also, no major glitches allowed.

Yeah, on Discord I asked everyone, they hated that route, but it is a beginner route that should get you sub 22 easily. After you have mastered that, you should try adding more complicated stuff. Like replacing slide In CCM for plank push in WF. Or not going for the Bully in LLL but for Klepto in SSL. Those are the fast routes that will get you soon 20. Also, movement matters and the star order. Also precise tricks such as Bomb Clip and Plank Push really save seconds.

So, if you have the superior Android phones, you should know there are emulators. The best one being SNES9x EX+. The version is above 1.43 (It is 1.5.37) so I leave you with this question. The rules don't say you can't use mobile devices, it says you can't use SNES9x below 1.43. So theoretically, just maybe, could you possibly use Android devices to speedrun?

Yes. I haven't submitted a run, but it doesn't say anything about going diagonal. You can move however you want, just can't constantly mash left and right or up and down.

Maybe try RBO normie order? Here us how most casuals play it: Vah Ruta (elephant) Vah Rudania (lizard) Vah Medoh (bird) Vah Naboris (camel) Again, it's open world, so there is no particular order. That is just how I, along with many, many, many others first played it.

You want to try to mash B or try to press B every time Link puts a foot in front of the other for optimal speed. (I think)

I mean this idea is better in Master Mode runs imo. The only problem i have is with the remembering of the route, a few enemies, and THE FRICKIN BOSS RUSH!!!

You guys know the Majora's Mask in close to the lake? Well, what if you were on a horse and you chose to get that if you were scared to fight those Lizalfos and Moblins in Hyrule Castle? This could also work amiibo less as there are a few horses near the Magnesis Shrine, or you could angle the rock differently to get it even faster. If you are bad at Hyrule Castle Navigation, Majora's Mask and Phantom Armor (Which is part of the route anyways) could really help. You are basically losing a few minutes to save a few minutes afterwards as you don't have to fight any enemies except the Moblin holding the Claymore. What do you think?

It can also be that you are slightly moving when doing the launches. If you move, you will fall down to the ground. That took me a while to figure out, but it was really easy when I learned it. I am talking about old route btw. I can't do tree launches very well.

I usually save instead of just mash B. Just for safety purposes. I am starting out too.

I just beat the game with 16 stars! Take that! I finally can do the wall jumps and long jumps and stuff!! I have a better understanding of the game and its controls now.
