all two videos are done with new game save file and infinite climax difficulty 3M halos farming (you need all the kinds of lollipops, red hot shot and as much moon pearls you can get after you finishing chapter 1; gaze of despair required; hornet within required)

the 3M halos farming video are not that hard I believe, since you have one red hot shot and 4 yellow pops at your proposal.

first prologue fight would be challenging, you need some practice to not get hit

This idea come up to my mind yesterday.

1. farm 2.5m or even 5m halos with Rosa repeating playing prologue. 2.buy out climax brace 1(which gives you infinite magic) and climax brace 2(which boost your umbran climax damage). each costs 2.5m halos. 3.beat the rest chapters with these bracelets equipped on.

Of course, this could be controversial, since it is not the normal way to get these bracelets. However, this mechanism is provided by platinumgames itself, so I think it is still a valid way to get these items. Here is the link: https://www.platinumgames.co.jp/dev-bayonetta2/article/1483

And, since you need touch the screen to activate this mechanism, so if you are running a NS version, you should switch it to portable mode first, which will make the video temporarily go black.(And wiiu is ok, since you can touch the gamepad)

I did several tests, in prologue verse1, you can farm up to 1.3 m per time. So it wont cost you much time to farm 5m halos. And with climax brace1 and climax brace 2, I dont think you need to go to shop in the rest run, which will save much time.

Since I would do a Jeanne run first, which may take some months, I am glad to share with you this strats with anyone that will do a Rosa run in the near future.

And, can any MOD come in and confirm this strats is valid or not?

In current settings, if you submit a new run with different character, it will override your old one.This is somehow awkward. Well, I do appreciate the situation here, since currently we have few runners running this game, we may not let the category get too separated.

But I think it is reasonable to get each character separated, since the strats for them are quite unique. Bayo and Jeanne may share same strats in some cases, but Rosa definitely not. Since you can "easily" beat Bayo's record with Jeanne or Rosa, this means your decent Bayo run(especially the strats you prepared for each verse and money management) would be overriden. And this is so unreasonable.

Some strats in wiiu or switch portable mode wont work in switch docked mode. ie. for wiiu and switich portable mode, you can perform complete ppkp and ppppp with umbran climax effect, while for docked mode, last p of ppppp are just normal attacks.

for wiiu and switich portable mode, before umbran climax ran out ,you can perform 10 hammer swipe and safely charge your last attack to perform a charged attack with umbran climax effect. for docked mode, you can do only 9 swipe, and even so, there's chance that you charged attack will miss the umbran climax effect.

Some strats are brand new. I am somehow content with my infernal communicator& midas testament strats. However, since general_beatrix didn't update his bayo run with star fox costume and the strats he used in his Jeanne run, I am not 100% sure my strats are better. My second try running the game from the start to the end. Lots of mistakes, should buy communicator before chapter 9. By the way, I checked worsel5's 2nd&3rd wr video, I believe he somehow underestimate the benifit those lolipops can provide. Lastly, hope switch port have a short loading time and better performance :)
