Played on Mesen RTA 0.0.7 w/ an 8BitDo Sn30 SNES controller. First run of the session. Ending split was late.

Reptile stage could've been a little faster. Turtle boss was a little slow, and a late fish spawn probably meant a slower death animation for Reptile III.

Possessor stage was very good. There's a two pixel window where you can get both shots on the Face boss in Possessor I for a quick kill. Got very good spawn RNG on the Possessor III boss, probably the biggest time save over Angel.

Mephisto & Firelord stages were pretty clean, save for a menuing hiccup. You can kill the leftmost flame in the Firelord III fight just as it spawns on screen, and save half a second.

Robot kill in Emperor II was slow, you should get him before he fires a shot. You can get away with using only one bomb on the turrets in Emperor III, so long as you kill them before the screen stops scrolling (I was a little slow and lost a few frames here.)

Very scary final boss, he didn't stop at all during the second cycle, which is rare. There are 4 fixed spots where he can stop during this cycle, it seems about 50/50 for each. Ideally, for the aggressive strat I use, he stops at point #3, and I use all 5 bombs to clear the bullets and move upward. If he had stopped at point #4, he probably would've sniped me out of the air.

Some more info on the final boss. When he exits to the right after the first cycle, he gets a full HP restore. It's not possible to kill him that quickly, so you can either idle, or start finding a good mashing rhythm. He gets another full HP restore when he exits to the right after the third cycle, so it's very important to kill him before he goes off screen to the right again.
