Super Granny 4 Basics

# WHAT TO DO

Super Granny is a platforming game. You need to collect all the cats in a level and take them to the blue arch then take granny to the blue flower that will appear once all cats have been dropped off. There are also souvenirs to be collected though these are not mandatory to complete the game. There are six different worlds to complete each with four souvenir achievements (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%).

### CONTROLS

Super Granny is rather basic in its controls. It uses just the keyboard to play. You can rebind the keys if the defaults are not to your liking. Here are those key binds:

- Up arrow - move up (on elevators)
- Down arrow - move down (on elevators)
- Left arrow - move left
- Right arrow - move right
- Spacebar - dig/ use weapon
- Control - switch character

There are a few different types of switches as well:

- Blue button - needs player/ box to be on
- Yellow button - needs player/ box to be on, for bridges
- Blue switch - doesn't turn off
- Red switch - can be turned on or off by touching
- Blue and grey switch - doesn't turn off
- Light switch - causes level to go dark, small circle of light around player

### POWERUPS + WEAPONS

As stated above weapons are used by pressing the spacebar - however when you have a weapon equipped you are unable to dig. Here are the weapons:

- Frying pan - use next to enemies
- Paper bag - long-distance weapon
- Gold orb - makes player invincible, speeds up player
- Whistle - kills all enemies on screen (including invisible wizards)

Both weapons and powerups are limited to 30 seconds. Here are the powerups:

- Watering can - use on a plant to grow it into a ladder
- Umbrella - use above a fan to float up, slows falling, allows for movement when falling
- Bomb - blows up terrian around it
- Jackhammer - digs directly under player
- Shoes - speeds up the player
- Gold orb - makes player invincible, speeds up player

### ENEMIES

There are several enemies in Super Granny, when enemies spot you they will approach, some enemies are activated by walking near them. Here they are:

- Thug - wears a blue mask, walks towards player
- Man in Black - in a suit, walks towards player
- Dog - is a dog, runs towards player, cannot go up or down ladders
- Punk - walls around level, dangerous when head banging
- White mouse - distracts cats from following the player
- Brown mouse - follows player
- Bat - flys across level, knocks player to floor when hit
- Mummy - comes out of floor when near, follows player
- Magician - wears a blue cape, appears when player is near, disappears when play is far, throws spell
- Diver - wears scuba wear, walks towards player, throws harpoons
