hay im going to start a base line for speed runs for this game its my first time doing speed runs any tips on ways to get a timer when i record that works well

Hi, how do I turn on the in-game timer? I'm just starting out and couldn't find this information

Click on "CREATE SERVER" in the main menu and enable "Challenge Mode" under "Server" before starting a new game. I don't think there's any way to turn it on outside of servers hosted in challenge mode.
