you should start doing "sandbagging" as people did in mk64. ex. mario cuircut has an ultra that could save 10 seconds if performed quick. The shortcuts could lower wr by more than 5 minutes overall i think if you had good rng.

The problem with that is, some categories could become extremely reset heavy, some already are. It's also not needed for wr in a lot of categories. But it would be cool to see those tricks performed first try in a run

I mean Mushroom Cup already does this, but I feel that this is the only cup where it is only reasonable. All the other cups are reset heavy and adding stuff like this will make it even worse.
