Undisputed full leaderboard sweep.

This was my final goal for my Lunar The Silver Star speedruns.

I wanted to prove to myself that my world record in any% wasn't just a result of a cheap trick (RNG Manips), so I tried it without any manips and...ended up having to fight 43 Man-Eating Plants before the Giant Root dropped (17 in former WR).

I did have some pretty good RNG in the Nanza Barrier at least with NO Count Antulas showing up at all. THAT was unbelievable.

Final battle got mega crit as well so that's always fun to see at the end of a run.

This was my 3rd attempt at getting a no S+Q run and my first decent run (other than losing 5-6 minutes to the Giant Root.

This category has the most potential for new WRs and new runners IMO. The only barrier to entry is the giant root RNG which...I mean...what can ya do, y'know?

I'm probably going to leave this WR here to encourage more people to run the game. It's a lot more inviting this way than if some new runner stumbles on my Any% run and realizes they pretty much need to become a human TAS because of the steproutes used...

It's over. My journey is complete.

The day after tomorrow is my WR-versary for Lunar any%, so I'll probably attempt to lower that WR to at least 2:3X:XX that day. I may consider running that category once a week or something until I get a crazy run complete (honestly, the dropped steproute at Blue Dragon Cave still bugs me...), but maybe not because it will be nice to not eat, sleep, and breathe this game anymore.

But...that said, I'm also going to start on an any% TAS pretty soon. Who knows, that may find something big...but even if it doesn't, sub 2:30 on that should be VERY easy.

Well, it has been QUITE the adventure.
