What console should I play on PS2/PS3 I have access to both versions but I wanna know which version is more optimal or does it not matter. Also are there any good guides to learn the glitches? Thanks in advanced for any help.

You can run on either PS2 or PS3, technically PS3 is faster in load times but it's also more annoying because of the punch glitch. Everyone who runs Jak 2 plays on PS2.
We don't mind giving explanations if there are specific things you are struggling with, I'd suggest watching the world record speedrun and seeing how far you can follow it along :)
After the recent Twitch changes to VOD storage that you've surely heard about, we've decided to no longer accept Twitch VODs for submissions to the Jak boards. From now on, only YouTube links will be accepted for video proof in a run submission, and we would encourage you to export any previous runs
