# How to force a Preset

If you already have Cheat Engine then jump to step 3
This works for all versions of the game

1. Download [Cheat Engine](https://www.cheatengine.org)
2. Download [this file](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/847776494817640448/891730613055397938/Granny_3_Preset_Chooser.CT)
3. Open the file in Cheat Engine
4. Open the game Granny 3
5. In Cheat Engine click select a process and choose Granny 3
6. In the pop up, that will appear, click Yes.

How do Item Locations work? (A list of them)

# How do they work?

- In Granny 3 there are **6** different item locations called **presets**.
- The default item location is preset #1.
- When you leave a game you head to the next preset.
For example: you're on preset 2, you leave it will be preset 3 next.
- When you're on preset #6 (the last preset) you will reset back to preset #1.

I have been made a fastest way than myth's way to choose preset on Granny 3 PC, And here is the tutorial:

How to install the older version

# How to install Version 1.0.2

1. Open the Steam console (By pressing Windows + R and pasting steam://open/console)
2. Copy and paste this command **download_depot 1707550 1707551 7914603600608429013**, hit enter
3. Wait for it to download
4. When the download is complete it should say where the files were downloaded (don't bother the manfiest ID brackets in the screenshot, They'll install you the latest version instead of the first one)

5. Replace your current game files with these files and launch the game from Steam
