Glitch Explanations

The Any% route heavily relies on glitches for its execution. Here is how they work, and how to use them.

Quest Storage/Super Jimmy
	This glitch is simple in its execution. First, you will need to accept a quest, and satisfy its requirements so that talking to the NPC will bring up the "Finish Quest" option on the right side of the screen.
	Once this is done, walk up to the NPC, press Q to open the menu, and click on the NPC to bring up the quest dialog box during the fade to black. When you close the menu, you should be able to move around.
	Lastly, you must talk to an NPC who currently has a quest you can accept. Once you do this, the quest dialog box will switch to that of the new NPC, but the Finish Quest option will remain. Clicking Finish Quest will now complete and give you the rewards for the quest of the NPC you just talked to.
	This trick is used in the run with quests that are easy to complete: the mushroom quest in Siltar Town, the 2 rubies quest in Pagnon Village, and the 5 sleeping pills quest in Siltar Cemetery. The biggest time saves from this glitch are skipping the quests to unlock the path to Pagnon Village, and completely skipping the journal segment in Harthar Mountain.

Encounters Anywhere
	This glitch has a much larger impact on the run, as it enables every boss after the first Defender to be skipped. But when not used properly, it can easily lead to you softlocking and your run ending immediately.
	To enable this glitch, you must fall asleep in a room that has enemy spawns (earliest available is in Pagnon Tree). Then, you must go through a doorway to a room that also has enemy spawns, and press E to wake up right as you hit the doorway. When doing this in Pagnon Tree, make sure you are on the far right side of the door, as it doesn't always work otherwise. You should hear the background music playing over itself (there will be two instances of the music, if there's three, it means you hit a 2nd door as you were waking up and the glitch won't work).
	You should now be able to get into battles with enemies in rooms where they normally don't appear. Doing this in any boss room and then winning or running away will let you skip that boss. By doing this in the Arachite room, you will be warped past the locked blocks that require a key, so you must either have both keys on hand to escape, or you will have to die to get out. This will let you skip 2 keys (the passcode key in Pagnon Tree and the 2nd key in the Crypt are the slowest to get normally).
	The other main use is that encounters in rooms where they don't normally appear reuse the encounter table of the last room with encounters you were in, but only for the first enemy, and will then reuse the enemy data for every future encounter until you leave the room. This means if you kill an enemy and then get into another battle without leaving the room, the enemy will spawn with 0 HP and you will win instantly. This is most useful for grinding magic keys in Pagnon Tree and Bhava Remains.
	Whenever you get in a battle with an enemy, the game stores the coordinates of where you started the battle so it knows where to put you after it ends. This variable is only used in rooms that normally contain battles (whether they be random or otherwise). If you get an encounter in a room that doesn't use this variable, this variable will still be stored, and the next time you enter a room that uses it (i.e. a room where it is possible to enter a battle under normal circumstances) you will spawn at the coordinates of where you got your last battle. This can sometimes be useful, but it can often put you inside a wall, so it's extremely important to avoid encounters when you don't need them.
	Upon booting up the game, the timer that determines when you can get encounters is synced with the timer that restores your energy outside of battle. So as long as your energy isn't full, you can watch the bar and make sure you don't move when it ticks up. Otherwise you'll have to manually count out 3 second intervals, which is hard to do accurately for large areas where you need to avoid encounters like Siltar Town.
