DO NOT USE SPEEDRUN MODE FOR SPEEDRUNNING THIS

If anyone is lucky enough to read this guide before speedrunning this, consider yourself lucky. As of June 9, 2020, version 1.0.1 has a glitch with the speedrun timer where the timer itself lags behind real-time very slowly. I was speedrunning this in any% category with speedrun mode and ended up getting a 12:55. I checked over the footage and noticed my actual time was a 13:27, which is really weird since I was using livesplit to record the time after the footage. And as you know, livesplit is a very reliable source for speedrunning games. So in conclusion, unless you want your time to be lower than usual and have the mods change it to a slower time,

Emeryaku's 100%'s guide

The 100% speedrun is the full speedrun of the game and it becomes annoying with all the bugs that we have at the moment.
1) you have to collect 24 fire shards to make the pick
2) you have to create a mine to get the potion, the orb plus 144 more orbs
3) repeat number 1 and 2 with ice
4) repeat number 1 and 2 with poison, adding the 2x speed
5) repeat 1and 2 with shadow, but you don't have to get an orb, only a 3x speed
6)craft the color customizer
7) go at the center of the map and dig straight down until you reach lava
8.) repeat 1 and 2 with lava, but you Will need only 134 extra shards
9) craft the infinite speed, the immortality and the bonus pick, then end the game.

How to create a corrupted world or a world with the seed 69 in Geometry Box

Note: This involves messing around with game files. Make a backup of your files in case something goes wrong.

First of all, you want to create a new world. You may choose any name for it, as long as you can remember it.
Don't enter the world. Instead, you close the game.

Next, Find your AppData files. From there, look for the game's files.

(Optional) Backup the game files if you want to be safe.

In the game's files, look for [World Name]_main and [World Name]_tiles. If you want to create a corrupted world, delete those 2 files, and re-open the game. If you open this world, there will be no blocks. You immediately beat the game.

However, if you are looking to create a world with the seed 69,
(You can't just type in 69 in the seed box in-game, as doing so will crash the game) Open your [World Name]_main file, and scroll down a bit until you find seed="[Your Seed Number]". Change the seed value to 69, save it, then re-open the game.

The corrupted world could be used for a quicker subcategory for Void% (If that will ever be a thing) where you create a corrupted world, then open the world and beat it immediately.

The seed 69 world could be used for a different subcategory of Nice% where you create a world with the seed 69 and beat it as fast as possible.

Painted Wolf's GD Box Speedrun Strategy Guide

This will be a list of steps that I personally used in my GD Box speedruns, with some explanations as to why I did them. Apologies if this seems too simplistic.

1: Right when joining, move half a block to the left or right and dig a two-block thick hole straight down to the gray underground tiles. Then, pile up by going to the side directly beneath your spawnpoint and jump up, placing a block every two spaces as you go. There should be one open column of space to your left or right when you're done. This gets you a hole directly to lava for use later, and gets you a stockpile of extra blocks.

2: Go to the fire biome as quickly as possible, and break the fire shards there. Stay in the biome until you have broken exactly 24 fire shards and crafted a fire pick. You will come back to this biome later.

3: Repeat this process with the ice biome, and then the poison biome.

4: When you have crafted a poison pick, STAY in the poison biome. Remove the spikes if you prefer, and get an extra 24 poison shards exactly.

5: Move on to the ice biome, and then the fire biome, and repeat the process in step 4 both times.

6: Repeat step 2, then step 4 in the shadow biome.

7: When all steps have been completed, go to the lava biome, and only collect 24 shards there.

8: Use the 24 shards of every type that you have obtained to make a bonus pick. Use the bonus pick to dig below the world and win the game.
