Metroid fusion has officially been released on the switch virtual console. I did a playthrough of it, and I'm planning on doing runs on the switch virtual console, but obviously, Id need it to get added to the platforms section. The new platform shows potential for speed running as well, because of easier controls, allowing for better Shine Sparking, and the reliable rewind feature (though there may have to be rules about the use of that). Anyway, is there any way it can get added?

How does the dpad on the joycons feel for fusion?

Playing with joy cons on fusion actually feels pretty good, and is easy to control, ironically. You can feel free to play it with joy cons, but I have been doing my runs on a pro controller. My pb is 1:53:02 with 1:15 IGT. Here is a photo to prove it:

I might have wr on switch right now, because I haven't heard of anyone else who did a run on switch. Feel free to try and beat my pb (it's really bad lol it shouldn't be too hard to beat)

dgedarack or I prob have switch record rn lol mines 1:16:41 RTA (). However the switch runs faster than emu and gba hardware since switch runs a flat 60 fps while gba runs around like 59.7 etc etc etc fps(?). means switch runs are about 15-20 seconds faster when it comes to a full run. prob worth doing a seperate section like how sm64 has it

The fact that the switch is actually faster than other platforms is really cool. I'll keep doing runs, and post screenshots of my times in this comment section, until the switch actually gets added either as a platform or a separate category. It may not get added, but it should. Btw, congrats on the 1:16. Maybe I could get a time like that someday.
