I got more than one type of runs planed so in the form to make your speed run thing it says put a video for the run. so will I be able to add more

Once your game gets accepted, I believe you should be able to set up other categories as well. The video on the game request is merely to give the admins an idea of what speedrunning the game in question looks like (whether it's long enough and if it seems like there's actual effort in trying to speedrun or if it's just casual play done a few seconds faster).

So, I'd say that you should record a run for the category you think represents best the game's speedruns in general, like a sort of showcase.

how do I just pick only one? in feed and grow fish there like 3 different ways you can do it kill one type of fish in the game. or kill 10 fish. or try to get to like a level of a fish the fastest. witch one should I try

For a "grow into bigger fish" game, defining completing the game as becoming the largest fish allowed by the game makes the most sense. I would submit a run of that.

My video was not private I did a speed run and it got rejected for not speed running and I did a speed run to level 30

Dude you've posted this in 3 places. We know. Do a full game run and resubmit.

As @Seydie already explained in this other thread you made, your request was rejected because the admins would like to see a full-game run. This means you need to find or define what constitutes the completion of the game you are requesting, and then you need to send a video of you doing a speedrun until the very end.

Speedrunning up to a certain level can't be defined as completion of the game because it's arbitrary really. For it to be considered complete you'd need something from the game itself acknowledging the end of the game; it could be a pop-up saying you won, or something that says you complete 100% of the game, etc. These markers are defined by the game itself (ie. not arbitrary) and thus are perfectly fine to use.

I am confused here a example there a minecraft speedrun for mining a chunk the game does not tell you that you mined a chunk. sorry if im using up your time. would I be able to do boss speed runs to where killing a boss? or like kill all boses in the game it does not say anything when you kill one but the maker defines it as certain things as bosses

Minecraft does have it's fair share of weird categories (and anyone that tells you otherwise is lying to themselves), but they still have their main category, Any%, which requires you to complete the game in any way you can. This is most likely the category they started out with (and the one they used as an example for the game request when it first began), and then once the game was added to the site and they had built a community, they started adding the other funky categories.

Noone's saying you won't be able to make a miscellaneous category to speedrun up to level 10 or up to killing a certain boss, but for your game request in particular you'll need to showcase a run that goes through the game from start to finish/completion of the game. You can work on the other categories once the game's accepted.

ok thanks in normal mode you can grow forever bassicly but in the survive mode of the game there a level cap at 15 so will it allow me to speedrun for my first time to get to the level cap?

@cronbone Does the survival mode of the game end when you reach the level cap or does it keep going indefinetely? Because if the game still continues on then I'm afraid it's probably not useable as a marker for game completion.

You could still try sending in the request for the game using that as your completion marker, but I'd keep my expectations low about it.

crap it goes on indefinitely I try it but if it does not work well darn feed and grow fish would have been a cool speedruning thing
