no reason really :P and its not really just "a donation to a different guy" it was a donation towards helping the site not just to give money to a random guy so id definetly thank the people who helped keep the site up if i was elo but thankfully im not
Ah, brutal.
In my mind, Elo has not particular reason to care. But some of us original donors currently subscribe on an annual basis to Elo, or perhaps they might not on the next subscription period.
we did get one month free of the current subscription thingie. i dont think i ever used mine but i also dont know where it disappeared.

rip original donor badge, but makes sense why it'd be gone, honestly figured they would've removed it when they bought the site like a year or two ago so I'm just surprised it lasted this long

@ShikenNuggets it’s not about whether or not they should care. To me it’s more so about the fact that they introduced it to make people happy, and then promptly removed it for no reason while conveniently forgetting to mention it whenever they talk about the site changes they’ve made.
