As long as you include a timestamp to the start of the run, it should be ok.
Although personally, I'd rather just download the stream, trim the video down to the run and reupload it. Although, I wouldn't do this for very long speedruns.

Although, I wouldn't do this for very long speedruns.[/quote] If the OP is using Twitch, both of these are not good suggestions. If you stream on Twitch, you should NEVER submit a run with a direct link to the broadcast as Twitch deletes those after 14 days.
You should also never submit a run video that contains multiple attempts just to make the mods lives easier. If you’re on Twitch, juts highlight the run using Twitch’s built in highlight support; don't waste your time reinventing the wheel by downloading a run, highlighting it and re-uploading it, that’s just a waste of time.
The TLDR is that when using Twitch, always use highlights and make sure to always local record in case Twitch has any issues so you don’t lose your run and you have a backup to upload to YouTube if necessary.
Personally I feel like it's good form to show the reset. Show the last few seconds of the failed attempt before your new PB so that verifiers can see you launched the run in a satisfactory manner. Obviously you can't do that if you PB first run of the stream (which I have a few times) but other than that I just think it's a good idea.
I agree with showing the reset too. It's not usually required (but some games do require it like SMB1 I believe) so check the rules on that.
I should have specified for clarity's sake that when I say "don't include multiple attempts" I mean like multiple, full (or decent/long) attempts. Showing the last few seconds of a previous one before a reset is often fine (and sometimes required).
As an example, Streets Of Rage 4 requires you to show at least the character select menu (or "Retry" menu on Boss Rush mode) so it is good form to include a few seconds before it.
I realised the other day I had submitted a run that accidentally included a 20 minute previous run that I reset. Didn't notice when trimming it afterwards. Felt really bad for the mod but had already submitted and been approved for days before I realised myself :/
I've done that (and had it happen to me as a mod, too). A little awkward but as long as you don't make a habit of it, not the end of the world. When I submitted with like a 5-minute failed run included, the verifying mod actually helpfully changed the submission link to timestamp to when the successful run started.
