Hi! I'm thematrixxtreme (or matrix for short), and I just today I joined speedrun.com. Speedrunning has always been one of the more interesting parts of gaming, and I admire those who put forth the effort to etch their places in history. As for me, I am nowhere near that peak. Not even close. I'm not planning on doing some big ones that require a lot of strategies (unless I can effectively learn them), but I'd like to do a couple simpler ones for the time being. Do you have any suggestions on what I could play? I have Web, iOS, Switch, Wii, N64 and 2DS (counts as 3DS).

Almost any game can get complicated to run depending on what your goal is, or at least very difficult. That said, if you're looking for simple games available to play on web, you should check out some pico-8 games. They tend to be shorter, simpler games due to the strict limitations of the system, and almost all of them can be played in your browser.

As you can see, it's extremely casual right now. Rules are simple for Any%. Time starts when you initially hit the option that brings you into the jungle and it ends the frame that the last boss dies.
This game's a gem and I'd love to have somebody to work against to grind down time.
I think the optimal method to let yourself repeat runs with minimal setup will be to back up your save file when you're prepped for a run and manually replace it if your run doesn't go well. Probably it's a good idea to not go through the story segments of the character you plan to do the actual run with and grind up all the rest of the unlocks, as story segments, health shrines, shops, and challenge rooms are the quickest rooms to get through, no enemies in any of them, and unless somebody finds a way to manipulate the RNG it's good to have those available for your character.
But yeah, right now Tunche is maybe one of the most simple and easy modern game WRs to hold, I think.
What platform is Tunche on? It looks like an interesting game.
Update: I just saw that it's on Switch. I could try to run this game once I get it, as well as attempt to do stuff for MK8DX.

Mini Flips Plus is very easy to try to do. And, I can verify or another Moderator can Verify your runs. Anything from the Mini Series is a good start for something.
