It hasn't been proven to save time but it makes the fight easier

First wait for him to shoot, then attack him. When you attack him wait till hes on the left side and get hit by his bullets. He will spawn on the left side instead of the right side. Get hit by him and he will now be on the correct side shooting the walls.
