Hey, I'm new to speedrunning. My question is that in the rules, it says a video must be included with submission of a run. Does that mean a capture of my screen, or a capture of my screen along with video of my controller?
Controller cam's aren't necessary, but it's always neat. If you don't have the means, don't stress about it. Record the gameplay.
@fl1ppy Are you on console, or emulator. On emulator it's pretty easy, even just find a seperate inputs display.
@fl1ppy Then some might have an input display built in, or you can find a seperate on, you dont need it, but I find it cool.
@fl1ppy I have to ask which emulator are you using? If it is Stella, then you can use third-party software like OBS and directly capture the game window. That is what I used for most of my runs, and it works without any issues so far.
