I doubt anybody will read this but anyway :) Recently I became the new mod of this game. It's a shame Desert Strike did not become popular among speedrunners. Game was quite popular in early 90s, I personally spent many hours in it myself in my childhood :) It has huge potential for speedrunning because of little to no rng and short duration of entire run (<35 min). Hopefully, some day Desert Strike will become less deserted (pun intended). To speed this up, I added individual level categories and filled up rules for game. Rules are mostly common-sense, single exception – I banned usage of Rapid Fire, since it changes game significantly and gives unfair benefits agains runners who doesn't have this feature. I think such runs should go into own category. Please note that rules are not set in stone and I'm more than welcome to discuss them. You can make forum post or DM me in case of any questions.
