I made a response in Dinopony's Reddit thread but I'll make a post here since only degenerates like m'self read Reddit. There's a way to manipulate Roxie by restarting the console (or hard resetting emulator) and doing specific movements to force him into an attack pattern. I've uploaded a video to with more info on it.

There's also another couple possible short improvements I made videos on, don't know / remember if they actually save time but I'll upload the videos on my channel for the sake of it.
