This tool for LiveSplit starts and stops the timer for you, splitting when you finish a level. It works automatically by reading the Alex4 game log, so you don't need to press any buttons. You can use it for full game or level runs.

To use it, add "Scriptable Auto Splitter" to your LiveSplit layout and choose this asl file. You'll need to edit this file to put the file path to your Alex4 game folder in the place of "C:\Games\alex4_new". The debug log "splitterLog.txt" will also be written there.

The splitter starts when "LET'S GO" stops in the middle of the screen. It splits when the level fades out, which is about 100ms after the "screen gets blank after the score screen" that ends time in the game rules. The start and end can be ~40ms off due to system delays, so to be fully accurate you may want to retime from video.
