Well, splitting up the leaderboard is not the greatest thing. I don't see a problem if a ton of people want to run single segment. If that's the case, then by all means, split away. Naturally, more people will show up in both categories. But I think that keeping all times in the same board is more fun. The split wouldn't be my 1st choice, but I'm down if the community is.

Here's my swing at rules: "Your run must start from a power on or reset, which should be included in your video. During the attempt itself you may not reset or load from save."

I think those rules should effectively prohibit event preloading while still allowing craps seed exploits.

You could remove the bit about "no resets allowed during the run", but my suspicion is that the faster times will not include any save/reloads because of the craps seeds strats.

I'd call it No Event Preloading, since that seems to be the only technique we are looking to prohibit.

Just need a fancy name for event preloading. Like "Stain Loading" or something.

I like the idea of single segment. Not save scumming or anything like that.

You could also make a case for just a no event manip category.

Either or both are cool.

Gambling is an addictive run. Who would have known? I'm gonna try to do some ofline any% runs today 'cause I don't wanna torture my viewers while I skip turns of blackjack. Single Segment is fun on stream tho, nice call on splitting up the leaderboard

The introduction movie is now completed skipped. This was achieved by pressing the “X” button at the title screen instead of the standard “A” button. This was an odd inclusion on the developer’s part, because all other menus and dialogue in the game are cleared through the use of the “A” button.
