Hello, I would like to become a mod, preferably super mod for both Infinity Blade 1 and 2 (https://www.speedrun.com/infinity_blade ; https://www.speedrun.com/ib2). The only semi-active mod is Silver, but as he's told me, he knows nothing about the games and is often slow to verify runs for the games. Also, category rules need updating desperately

edit: the only super mod for both games has been inactive for 3 months

so uh, 100% rules desperately need an update. It needs to specify "master all items in the game at least once", because unlocking remastery twice is required to master the Shard (a pseudo-hidden item) at least once, so the current rules are too vague.

I mainly wanted to follow up on CreepyGar's post to do something about peepee's pay to win 1st place run. The way IB2 works, if you get gold with a micro transaction it stays with your character even if you reset. I think the rules should be changed to account for this, or his run should be in a separate category? (and about mods, how long does jdlinkmaster have to be inactive before someone else can become a supermod? or is that not how it works?)

It clearly states in the rules that the character must be completely reset before a run for First Ending. peepee starts his run with purchased gold, and although his character might've been reset, he would've had to go into options and redeemed his purchase after reset, which is no longer a fresh file going into the run. Silver, you're more experienced as a mod, when people get a run accepted that doesn't follow the rules does it get deleted, or moved to a new category, or what?

just following up, can you get on that Silver? (btw I would love to be a verifier, I'm very knowledgeable about the game)

Could we get a category: "Buy/Purchase Infinity Blade" the run would start from new character slot or reset character. The run is all about rushing the 600k needed to buy the infinity blade, and run ends on pressing buy on the infinity blade and getting it.

It looks like Silver is the only active Mod for IB2. I love this game, and have been running it for about a month, and don't intend to stop.
