@seanpr having two ifs instead of combining them works just fine. The thing wrong there is comparing with a single = instead of ==, also you are missing the return statement. The Memory Addresses seem to miss the value for the .exe. Example: state("UBERMOSH vol3") <--name of exe { Pointer: int kills: "UBERMOSH vol3.exe"<--this is written in CE,0x00015E68,<--base address0xC,0x60C,0x164,0x4,0x414<-offsets; Static Address int menu: "UBERMOSH vol3.exe",0x385F70; }
@Racingmonster well autosplitter make it easier for the mods, since they dont have to retime every run and as a playwe you always know when you beat your last run, autosplitters are essencial in very short runs. Imagine running 5s runs for 2 hrs and then having to retime every run with sony vegas. I hope you get my point ^^
I managed to make an autosplitter, i added you on Discord to speak about how it works, how you have to use it etc.
If i would make an autosplitter for this game, what would happen to all the runs currently on the leaderboard?
@eddiecatgaming this is still a last resort thread and there are literaly 0 reasons to add you.
I want to make a Category where you can do 12 Levels of a World as one run. And i think it would be best that that would completly replace the old Level-leaderboard. But if you dont want that i can try to add it as Misc. Full Game Categorys.
Hmmm, if i add the Chapters in the Level Leaderboard the Chapters will have the same Categorys as the normal Levels, which wouldnt work. Can i add it under Full Game?
Programming and Gaming, i would love to draw but couldnt improve since Kindergarden, sooooo yea.
I think you should replace the current Level-leaderboard with a Leaderboard which counts the time for each chapter, because right now we have sooooo many leaderboards with runs lasting mere seconds with not a lot of room for improvement. This would reduce the amount of Leaderboard and would make it more interesting.
If it cant be teached in a tutorial, how where people able to learn it? It isnt the exact same for every game, but finding the right value is the only thing which really differs and when you know how to find a value in generall and know how to programm with the value, you can do it yourself with some simple logic thinking. But you first need to learn how to search for a value and how to use it in an autosplitter, thats what we need a tutorial for.
I know how to do an autosplitter... My whole point is that i want a Proper Complete Start to Finish Tutorial for other people.
Autosplitters are really great and worth the time creating, but not enough people know how to do it, or that they even exist and i am terrible at writing tutorials, so can please somoene else make a written tutorial and sticky it?
Well,you would have to answer my Question first. What Timer are you using?
Did you accept LiveSplit as your Lord and Savior?
