Honestly I never thought people would try the Rank categories outside of Elite% unless they were routing each rank.

The point of the unlock rank section was to compare different routes for routing the three main categories, should anyone want to optimize them. It was never meant to be a real thing, but Rank 2% became a meme run.

*Still can't consistently skip Big Surf, so this is the next best thing.

Can we advance with a silver in GP1? Or we could try to force a tie as well and maybe force a 4- way tie for first.

When you skip a race, the finishing order of the AI is based on where they are at the moment you pause the game. It does not simulate the race as previously thought.

The way I tested it was I would time myself through the menu and to the end of the loading screen. I used a note pad to add everything up. It was roughly 5h30min, but it isn't 100% accurate.

I re-routed it a while ago too. If you're on the discord we can compare. My estimate was 5h30min after I timed each individual event on the route once.

The pre-reqs to every GP are in the rank of the respective GP. You can unlock rank 10 without having to unlock the GPs for 7-9.

1: I forgot to put that you only need to get bronze on the GPs for NG+. Honestly I'd be impressed if someone got WR with a bronze somewhere.

2: You can unlock GP10 without completing GP 7-9. GP10 is considered the final level so its the Any% benchmark.

3: We haven't done that yet because we want the board to look more active. :<

So how should the runs be done?

1. When should the timer start.

2. When should the timer end.

3. Categories. (Any% and 100%)

The rules should be you must take a shot after every race.
